The annual Dimond Bros. golf outing took place on Thursday, May 11th at Eagle Ridge Golf Course in Paris, IL. The outing includes the Dimond Bros. Executive Team, Sales Executives and this year included representatives from 31 different carrier partners. The day allows for relationship building, camaraderie and friendly competition.
The weather was perfect for golfing, and everyone was welcomed to start the day with an assortment of coffee, tea and energy drinks made by locally owned Stagecoach Coffee and our Marketing Department on hand to check everyone in for the day. The competition field consisted of 17 teams of four with a mix of Dimond Bros. employees and carrier representatives at the shotgun start at 8am. From the competitive side, the day came down to the wire with a putt off being required of the final two teams.
Don Bartos won the putt off against Charlie Drier (Auto-Owners Insurance). Congratulations to the winning team (pictured L-R) Toby Bartos (Springfield), Michael Crabb (Carmel), Don Bartos (Paris-Corporate) and Kirk Good (Paris). Following the outing, teams enjoyed lunch from a local food truck, Derailed and cookies by Addi’s Cakes. Trophies were presented to the winning team and prizes were presented to proximity winners for each hole.
